As shocking as this may sound, I have reason to believe that many online euchre players are actually under the influence of drugs while they are playing!
It took me a long time to figure it out, but I always suspected that something funny was going on. I always wondered why so many players online played so crazy. Now I know! They're all sitting around in front of a computer somewhere (probably most of them in Michigan) smoking acid and shooting up grass while jonesing for the "candyman" to come and bring them some more "stuff".
It's no wonder they can't concentrate on the game with all those hallucinations and flashbacks going on.
Until Yahoo and Pogo can devise some sort of drug filter for their games that will automatically boot out all the stoned hippies, we will simply be forced to tolerate them and their "crazy" ways.

It was once rumored that "Winning at Euchre" by Tom Gallagher was conceived during a peyote vision after he had visited a shaman in Peru. Some said that his point bid system actually contained a hidden cryptic message praising the drug spirit "mescalito".
The rumor turned out to be false though but as far as I can tell, he could have been doing some serious drinking back then.

I've been noticing that a lot of online players speak to each other in secret codes when they are getting high.
If you see any of the following codes being spoken during any of your euchre games, you should boot them immediately! We must stop these people from ruining online euchre before it is too late!
"Mary-hoochie" which means "weed of the devil" in Italian

brb = "burn reefer (in) bong/bowl"
nsp = "needs (to) smoke pot"
gga = "getting (off on) groovy acid"
lol = "light of life"
lmao = "lighting more aromatic opium"
nt p = "nice tasting pot"
u go p! = "partner has to use the bathroom bad"
sp = "strong pot"
npp = "what in the hell are you doing, dumbass?!"
Fat's reveals secret drug slang:
